A product of private banking training and personal credit background, Jane O'Toole brings extensive knowledge and expertise in the area of mortgage banking to her clients. Ms. O'Toole is a 1977 graduate of Florida Sate University School of Business with a major in Finance. She arrived in California in 1979 while working as a financial analyst with Six Flags, Inc., which was then based in Los Angeles. During the decade of the 1980's, Jane honed her skills relative to personal finance as an officer with Ryder, Stilwell Inc., which specialized in managing investment, tax, and borrowing needs of a select clientele, including prominent athletes and television personalities. She was trained in the field of publicly traded securities by Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, and later managed a private banking unit for Union Bank of California at the very inception of the private banking concept. She became a mortgage banker with The Boston Company in 1989, catering to the borrowing needs of private banking clients once again. It was while working for the Boston Company that Jane developed a professional relationship with Sherry Shriver. In 1993, in order to adapt to the changing needs of her clients (which sometimes included the need for smaller loans and most often the need for fixed rate products), she opened Bay Canyon Capital. It is Jane's goal to offer the same type of hands on, highly professional, and personal service that Sherry provides to her clients as they explore their financing options.
